Profitable Podcasting - Quick Ways to Jumpstart Your Podcasting

Not so many people understand the concept of podcasting. There are even other online users who are taken aback when this particular topic is being discussed. However, there are a great number of people who appreciate this new technology and if you want to attract them to your website, you better understand how you can incorporate podcasting on your website so you will not be left behind.

Here are some of the advanced ways to podcasting:

1. Record your podcasts. You can do this by using your own computer as long as it has sound card with input capability. You will also need microphone, MP3 encoder, and an audio recording program. For smooth recording, I suggest you create a script that can guide you so you can avoid too much dead air. In addition, this script will also help you not to forget the important points that you need to discuss in your podcasts.

2. Publishing your podcasts. The best way to distribute your work is to upload them on your own website so you can syndicate them using RSS feeds.

3. Syndicate your podcasts. Promote them to your potential clients and ask them to subscribe on your RSS feed. By doing so, your intended recipients will receive your content once their chosen aggregators crawl on you feed.

4. Promote your feed. There are various ways on how you can promote your feed to your intended recipients. You can use article marketing, banner advertising, and forum posting.

5. Your broad cast must have useful, targeted content. Now that you know all the technical aspects of podcasting, you must also consider the content of your work. Make sure that they highly informative and useful to your listeners.

6. Create more podcasts. Once you have gain a steady readership, record more of them to keep your readers interested.
